Creation in Agadir of Holidays Services by Mr. Guy Marrache, joined in 1973 by Mr. Ahmed Benabbés-Taarji.
The two partners will make this company and its tourist transport subsidiary SMDTT the first integrated travel agency in the Kingdom for more than 30 years.

1990
Inauguration of the current Riu Tikida Garden 4* in Marrakech, the group's first hotel unit.
Opening of the capital of Holidays services to TUI, a national first.

1995
Opening of the current Riu Tikida Beach 4* in Agadir.

1999
Creation of the Eden Voyages et Découvertes brand, for the Tour Operator Outgoing activity.

2000
Opening of the Golf du Soleil in Agadir (27 holes) and its Academy.

2002
Opening of the ClubHotel Riu Tikida Dunas in Agadir.

2005
Signing of the partnership between Robinson Club Gmbh and the Tikida group and launch of construction work on the Robinson Club Agadir.

2006
Launch of the airline Jet4you, in partnership with TUI AG.

2007
Opening of the current Relais & Châteaux Tikida Golf Palace, a 5* boutique hotel in the heart of the Golf du Soleil.

2009
Opening of the ClubHotel RIU Tikida Palmeraie.

2011
Signing of a management contract between RIU Hotels & Resorts and the Tikida group, covering the majority of the group's hotel portfolio.

2012
Opening of the Riu Tikida Palace in Agadir, 5*.

2015
Purchase of the Rivoli Hotel in Casablanca and launch of its complete renovation and repositioning as a 5*.
Complete renovation of the ClubHotel Riu Tikida Dunas and purchase of land in Taghazout for the development of a 2nd Riu Tikida Palace, 500 rooms, 5*.

2016
Signing of the partnership with Barcelo Hotels & Resorts for the opening of a 5* hotel with 206 rooms in Casablanca.
Renovation and repositioning of the Riu Tikida Beach, Agadir in “Adults Only” by RIU.

2018
Opening of Barcelo Anfa Casablanca.

2019

Opening of the Riu Tikida Palace in Taghazout 5* (Summer 2019).

Closure for renovation of the ClubHotel Riu Tikida Palmeraie in Marrakech.

Closure for renovation and repositioning of the Riu Tikida Garden 4* in TUI Blue “Adults Only”.

Rebranding of the Riu Tikida Beach 4* in TUI Blue “Adults Only”.

Complete renovation of the Zanzibar and reopening.

Papagayo renovation and reopening.
